Rabbi Markose is a conservative rabbi, ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York. He has a doctorate in Biblical Studies from Bar Ilan University in Israel, he is a father and grandfather, and he currently resides in the holy city of Jerusalem with his wife. Today, Rabbi Markose teachers Biblical Hebrew Grammar at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
Why study Biblical Hebrew? The best way to truly learn and understand the Bible is to study it in its original language. So much has be lost over centuries of translations and you can uncover it all by learning one language. In this course, you'll study sections of the Bible and will delve into the meanings behind words, names, stories, and even letters as you learn the basic Biblical Hebrew structure on your journey to enhancing your understanding of the biblical texts.
