Biggest Street View update ever

This month, we launched our biggest update to Street View, doubling the number of special collections (for example going inside museums) and updated over a quarter of a million miles miles of imagery around the world. With this update you can explore more of our world in glorious technicolour.

More of the world in high resolution

Once you've finished exploring our world at street level, you can literally get a different perspective by becoming your own virtual pilot. We've recently update our imagery database in Google Earth. This refresh to the imagery has now been updated for 17 cities and 112 countries/regions.

There are many organisations out there that have adopted Google Earth & Google Maps into their work and undertaken some truly wonderful projects. The Geo for good summit, held recently at our headquarters in California allowed us to offer further to support to theres geographical pioneers.

  I'll believe it when I try it!  I like http://spotify.com, but find it takes up more hard drive space than first meets the eye, and I end up loading it and unloading it over and over again.  Maybe this is the app where I'll find more Jackie Washington (The folk singer), Jane Voss and Andy Cohen.  I'll provide feedback once I've test driven it.
